Certain parts of the ocean are very polluted with all kinds of chemical, nuclear waste or contamination. While almost all the marine animals are unable to survive the pollution, there is one who adapted itself to such surrounding and lives under these conditions. It absorbs toxicity of the surrounding environment, becoming toxic as a result. These creatures are very independent and self-sufficient, they even use garbage as accessories. Other Octopi species perceive them as freaks and stay away as they can be scary. This is where the name Octopi Alieni comes from.
Let’s digress for a moment to help us visualize. If we take Mount Everest, the highest peak in the world, and put it on the bottom of the Mariana Trench, then the tip of the mountain will still be around 2,000 metres below sea level! In such deep, unexplored parts of the sea, our beloved Oxtazies live. Some species are well researched while others are still undiscovered till today.
